Antibacterial peptides (ABPs) is a general term for a class of small peptides with antibacterial, antiviral, anti parasitic and anti tumor activities. It is widely distributed in all kinds of organisms in nature.

Because antimicrobial peptides have natural antibacterial activity, rapid action, strong selectivity, and rarely the occurrence of drug resistance, it is likely to become a new generation of green antibacterial agents and immunomodulators.
