Polypeptide non-radionuclide labeling
The research of proteomics has entered the phase of quantitative analysis and functional proteomics. The use of SIL and LC/MS for protein quantification has opened up a new technical platform of quantitative proteomics. Compared with traditional quantitative methods, stable isotope labeling technique has great application prospect in quantitative accuracy and large-scale quantitative analysis.
At present, C13, 15N and H2 are still widely used in non-radionuclide labeling of polypeptides, because they are safe to use and have little radioactivity. There are now relatively complete non-radiolabeled amino acids, which can be directly linked to peptides by normal peptide synthesis methods.
