Modification by methylation

Arginine methylation or lysine methylation is an important post-translational modification of proteins. They are involved in the regulation of cellular functions, such as transcription and cell division. A well-known example is the methylation and demethylation of histones. This process is considered to be an important epigenetic regulatory mechanism. Therefore, it is of great value to study this process by synthesizing arginine/lysine methylated peptides containing specific sites.

Common methylation modification services are Lys (Me), Lys (Me2), Lys (Me3), Arg (Me), Arg (Me2a), and Lys (Me2s).
